Sleeps 6 +, This superb 3 bedrooms apartment is located near the Spanish Steps,near the Hotel L'Inghliterra, a wonderful choice for seeing Rome.
Summary Located on the 3rd Floor, (american 3rd) with lift, this apartment has three bedrooms, one with large queen, one twin/queen combo, and small room with a single and a French single in a loft.
There are three Bathrooms, one bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub with a fixed head shower plus hand-held shower, the second bathroom has a large, step-in shower with fixed head and, the third bathroom has a small shower stall with handheld shower.

Once inside the front door you find yourself in this spacious entry hall. The large antique mahogany sideboard dates to the beginning of the 19th century, in Imperial style from the owners ancestral home; together with a contemporary painting on the wall in front, these two pieces serve as a fitting background for this recently refurbished apartment that combines the elegance of old Italy with the latest in modern convenience and comfort. The passage way in front of you leads to the living room, on the right, and the master bedroom, on the left. The door to the left leads to the kitchen and other bedrooms.

The living room is situated in a spacious corner room overlooking a wonderful old Palazzo. The warm ochre of the building is enhanced by its elaborate marble window frames. At night the building glows as if lit from within creating an inviting, relaxing atmosphere. Two white sofas are situated in front of the enormous fireplace. There is a television with satellite reception and a DVD player that can accommodate American and European format DVDs. LIVING ROOM A sparkling chandelier hangs from the waxed wood beams of the ceiling illuminating the room. The dining room table will comfortably seat up to eight.

MASTER BEDROOM: A large white bed serves as a centerpiece. Together with two comfortable armchairs, a 19th century desk with convenient Internet access, Neapolitan watercolors that match the lilac walls and another large Persian rug, the feeling is similar to that of the living room.

The bathroom for the masterbedroom is situated beyond the closet and has a Jacuzzi tub with fixed and hand-held shower heads.
The en suite closet affords travelers with easy access to their clothing and accessories without having to search through drawers.

Second double bedroom This is a lovely bright room, at the back of the apartment. A large set of French windows open onto a small balcony that overlooks a large internal courtyard. This room can be set up either with two twin beds or the two beds can be put together to create a queen-sized bed. (typical in Italy - very comfortable) You can see other plant filled balconies from here.
The bathroom for this room, is reached through an open style closet area outfitted with clothing racks and shelving. The bathroom itself contains a large shower.

Third bedroom This is the smallest room in the apartment. It contains a single bed, a table and an antique mirror. A second bed is situated in a loft above and is reached by ladder. The loft is secured in front with iron bars and has a small reading table and lamp. This room has its own air conditioning / heating unit keeping it comfortable year round. We would recommend this room for a child or teenager, ( nanny?) with a possibility of using the loft area for an older child, as there is a ladder to get up to this bed.

The well equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator/freezer, four burner cook top and toaster oven.

This apartment is located in a wonderful location, near the Spanish steps. A lively area of many shops, not only on the famous via Condotti, but the many side streets as well; many restaurants, small deli shops, and coffee bars. This is one of my favourite areas of Rome, you can easily walk from here to the main Sights: the Spanish Steps, the Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Venezia, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and more...
