An Artist in Il Borro
Half Day and whole day art lessons in and around the Borro Estate

May is the month of Primavera in Toscana, with irises and poppies in bloom and warm sunny days. In the painting classes the artists hopes to share with you her inspirations of spring here at the Borro in the techniques of watercolour paining or coloured pencil drawing. Any level of expertise is welcome -- A wonderful way to bring a fond memory of Toscana back with you to your home.

Morning classes from 10 am to 12:30 pm

We will being in my studio Atelier il Corvo del Borro, to acquaint you with your materials and supplies. -- Then to a view of your choice to begin working outside, weather permitting until the end of the session.Price - US$ 40.00 per person

All day classes from 10 am to 4 pm

Journal Format or Free painting

Takes place in the studio Il Corvo del Borro. The artist will supply hand bound journals for you to begin documenting your stay here in Toscana. You can either choose to paint in watercolours or draw with pencil some of the views of il Borro. A break for lunch from 1 - 2:30pm. The afternoon session will continue with further views of the Borro, and finish with our shared comments of the days work.

Price: US$ 70 per person

Prices include: use of all supplies for watercolour paintings or coloured pencil drawing, papers, paints, brushes, and accessories.

Caroline Zimmerman holds a BFA from California State University, Fullerton, and MFA in Painting from California College of the Arts and crafts, Oakland. Her work has been exhibited in many fine art galleries and collected throughout the US and Europe. She is a resident and maintains a working studio at il Borro.
