 Beautiful,
luxuriously furnished 1,000 sq. ft. apartment with 2 full bedrooms
and 2½ baths, sleeping up to 7 people. The location, proximity
to park, river and monuments make it one of the most desirable locations
in Paris. The 2-story apartment is located on the 5th and 6th floors
(European) of this 1800's building; the building has an elevator.
You enter the apartment on the 5th floor to a small entryway, antique chest and closet; living room is to the left, spiral staircase leading to the 6th floor straight ahead; powder room immediately to left of front door. Ample closets for coats and baggage. The living room is spacious and designer-furnished in yellows, with oak parquet floors, cream-colored walls and a white antique fireplace. There are 2 large sofas upholstered in yellows and beiges, beautiful antique mirror and large coffee table. Two single folding beds are stored in the large closet in the living room, to provide comfortable sleeping for adults or children. The beds are meant for every night sleeping, with wooden slats and foam mattresses for comfort. They are easy to remove and open when needed, a superior alternative to uncomfortable sofa beds, where furniture and cushions have to be moved every night to sleep. TV, VCR and stereo are located in the cupboards next to fireplace. The living room is cheerful and extremely comfortable for relaxing at the end of a long day of sightseeing or shopping.
Guests love to stand on the balcony and watch Parisians go to work, take their children to school, buy their baguettes and, of course, have a coffee or meal at the local café. The dining room and kitchen are separated from the living room by a small bar; dining table extends to seat 8. The kitchen overlooks inner courtyard from 2 sunny windows and is fitted with all appliances: refrigerator/freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher, toaster, etc. Dishes are from E. Dehellerin in Paris, the shop that furnishes all good restaurants. With a full array of cookware, you can shop the local market and prepare your own gourmet meals.
The master bedroom is decorated in beige and has a king-sized bed and ample closets. Two rows of built-in closets lead to the ensuite master bath, with full-sized tub with shower and double sinks. Guests enjoy the view of the Eiffel Tower from the bedroom and the large window to quiet courtyard from bathroom. All windows and French doors are new and provide excellent sound and thermal insulation.

Two
sets of French doors lead from the living room to the balcony where
guests find an unforgettable view of the Eiffel Tower and city life
below. A round marble bistro table and chairs sit on the balcony
for you to enjoy croissants and café au lait each morning,
or toast the sunset in the evening.

circular glass brick wall surrounds the brushed steel spiral staircase
leading upstairs to 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The guest bath
has a bathtub with shower, sink and washer/dryer. Separate toilet
is located on 6th floor landing. 
The
second bedroom is decorated in beige and pale peach and has twin
beds. An antique mahogany dresser and large closet provide ample
storage. The beds can be easily pushed together to make a large
king for added flexibility; sheets and bedding for twins and kings
are included. This charming bedroom has a view of the Eiffel Tower
and the rooftops leading to the river; good cupboard space, antique
mahogany dresser and mirror. Additional sleeping for 7: The bedroom
closet stores a thick, folding foam mattress which can fit in either
bedroom or living room to provide additional sleeping for an adult
or child.
