STUDIO:The second apartment, or studio, (sleeps 2/3) is entered through a private courtyard with a small sitting area. The upper level has a pull out sofa bed for two, a kitchenette with two burners, a small refrigerator and sink and a dining table to seat 3-4 people. Downstairs is a bathroom with shower and a bedroom that can be made up as a king or 2 twin beds. There is an open connection to the upstairs and the light from outside.
These apartments can be rented separately or together sleeping
up to a total of eight people. There is a minimum 5-day rental.
Prices include linens, final cleaning and utilities and is based
on the number of people.. The telephone and heating are metered.
Parking is extra at 15,000 lire (approx. $7.50) per day, but remember
that a car is not necessary (and not advised) for the non-Roman
visitor. A refundable security deposit of $300 will be collected
on arrival and returned to you less any damage fees. |
Wonderfully
located, overlooking the Palatino ruins and the Circus Maximus,
this private villa offers two apartments for rent. It is surrounded
by gardens and with private parking. Care has been taken with the
interiors, which are both tasteful and functional, although the
villa is within walking distance of the countless historic treasures
of the eternal city. The owners are in residence in the main part
of the villa. 
APARTMENT.
(Sleeping 2/5) On the entry-level floor, there is a comfortable
bedroom with queen-sized bed with an ensuite bathroom with tub,
shower, bidet, sink and toilet. Down a spiral staircase is a small
basement room with a window, which can have two single beds or a
desk for a work area, and a wardrobe. Up the spiral staircase is
a very comfortable sitting/dining area and small kitchen corner
with a two-burner stove, microwave and washing machine. There is
a double sofa bed here, telephone and a TV. Leading from the sitting
room is a fabulous terrace overlooking the Palatine Hill.
