Villa Fiamma, Tuscany Lucca

This villa, dating from the end of the 19th Century, has recently been restored throughout. Inside, the rooms are spacious and light and the "art nouveau" furniture, as well as the original frescoes, have been maintained, to preserve the original character of the villa. To the front of the house is a large terrace, ideal for dinning outside, especially in the summer evenings. The property is located within walking distance of the village of Segrornigno Monte, in an area which was chosen in the past by many of the old Luccan families for their summer residences. Situated in the immediate surroundings of Villa Fiamma, are the most important historic villas of Lucca, now open to the public for visits. The villa is surrounded by a large lawned garden, with swimming pool. To one side of the swimming pool is a shady pergola. The English speaking guardian lives in an independent wing on the ground floor of the villa, and also looks after the pool and garden.
