Located near the road that leads to Florence from Siena, very near Castellina and Greve, Borgo Castellina offers all the amenities of a hotel in its exclusive apartment suites. ( note the aerial photo above shows the hamlet, with the long driveway leading up to it from the Chianti road. It is set atop the hillside for beautiful views across the Chianti landscape.
Vacation Property Details
This charming hamlet has been very nicely restored, located just a few minutes from my favourite Chianti town of Castellina, it offers charm and service. These tiny 'villas' in Chianti, have lovely furnishings and fabrics, the ancient stone walls that have been left exposed in many of the units make for a wonderful warm interior - both in feel and atmosphere. ( if you want to be literal - it keeps it warm in winter and cool in summer too)
This little hamlet is composed of the main villa and six other houses that have been restored into 15 apartments, each with different characteristics and sizes.
All units have the same amenities and fixtures, however each is a bit different in character, size and decor. Please read on

There follows a general description of the various sized apartments - we will provide you with details of the available units on request:
Small units: apartments composed of living room with fireplace and kitchenette or kitchen, double room, small living room, bathroom, and equipped private garden.
Medium size units: apartments composed of living room with or without fireplace, kitchenette or kitchen, two double bedrooms. Some of the apartments can offer two bathrooms and equipped private patio. Private houses available too.
Mid to large units: apartments composed of large living room with fireplace, kitchen, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, and equipped private garden. Private houses available too.
Beautiful setting - very private. Each apartment has its own outside sitting/dining area - although you may see people who are also at the estate, it has a private, away from it all feel to it.
There is a lovely infinity edge pool, with pleasant sun lounges set around the pool to take advantage of the lovely views.
All apartments are very nicely furnished with lovely fabrics and very good appliances and modern bathrooms. High quality linens and towels.
Included/Excluded in Price
taxes and service; if a local tourist tax has been introduced in the area, this is not included; usual price is €2-€4 per person per day, payable locally.
