This apartment in Florence is located on the fourth floor, without elevator- 100 steps to climb; it is also possible to use a hoist climbing only 24 steps for your luggage or for a person.

The apartment is in a building on a street just off the main Duomo Square. This area has all kind of shops, bars, restaurants and it is within walking distance from the Duomo and all major monuments of the city.

The apartment (180 sq.mt / 1937 sq.ft) has 5 bedrooms,for up to 9 people and has 2 bathrooms, one with shower and one with bathtub and 1 bathroom with just w.c.
There is a large spacious living/dining room t, a modern corner kitchen and large flat screen TV.
The kitchen is well equipped with Fully equipped kitchen with 4 burners,Large fridge,Freezer, dishwasher, Toaster,Traditional oven, microwave,Kettle,American Coffee Maker,Italian Coffee Pot.
In this beautiful living room there is a gas fireplace that together with the original lights of the apartment will create a unique atmosphere.

From this room you have two choices: you can climb the stairs on the left of the entrance door to reach directly the first terrace, or take the corridor to reach the bedrooms. The first door on the right of the corridor introduces to the first double bedroom.

The second door, still on the right, leads to the second double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with an amazing bathtub built inside the marble.
The last door on this level on the corridor is the third double bedroom with ensuite marble bathroom complete with shower. Going back to the corridor you can climb ten stairs to reach the fourth double bedroom, the second small living room, the fifth single bedroom and the third bathroom with just w.c. From the small living room on this level you can access the first terrace which is therefore connected to both living rooms.

The first terrace is home to an outdoor cupboard in which you will find the washing machine and the dryer; both devices are very useful to easily wash and dry your laundry.
From here, up a flight of stairs, you discover the second terrace that offers a breathtaking 360 degrees view over Florence. The spectacle offered by the "Cupola del Brunelleschi" is absolutely unforgettable for all guests that can also dine or have lunch in front of this wonderful view.
The apartment is equipped with air conditioning and all double beds can't be turned into single beds.

What a wonderful time we all had in Florence. We could not have asked for a more perfectly situated apartment, literally a minute from the Duomo and the views from the rooftop terrace were fantastic. The apartment itself far exceeded our expectations and the booking and checking in/out processes were so easily done. We managed to fit in visits to all the major city center sights in Florence and spend time in the Uffizi too. The conference was also a resounding success and between the culture and the science we all benefited from our time in Florence. We will certainly return to explore more of the Italian countryside and probably Rome too! Thanks again Helen
