Villa Palaia

The villa is on two floors,with a beautiful tower typical of Tuscan country houses from which you can enjoy views of the hilly Tuscan landscape.
The spacious living areas and four elegant rooms, decorated in a style that links old and new with a combination of antiques and modern furnishings creating an ideal environment for a vacation where comfort and relaxation are protagonists.

The ground floor consists of the living room-dining room, kitchen equipped with every comfort, the first bedroom "Arrows of Cupid" has a queen size bed and its own full bathroom. Access to upper floors one through an external stone staircase leading to a small balcony from which you can enjoy a lovely view, that on a clear day allows you to see the sea; either through a spiral staircase in steel and wood wonderfully lit to showcase the original stone wall adjacent to it.

On the first floor there are the rooms "Luce" and "Zefiro", each with queen sized beds, a bathroom and a spacious relaxation area with an impressive and ancient fireplace.
The villa is completed by a tower typical of this quintessential style of Tuscan farmhouses - allows for lovely views of the countryside; it opens up the last bedroom the "La Poeta" with queen sized beds. and its bathroom. All rooms, are very nicely furnished with air-conditioned and equipped with color TV with satellite reception. There are two double sofa beds to allow up to 12 people to sleep in this charming villa.

Outside Area: The external area of the property has a very new swimming-pool (2013).( new photos of updated landscaping not yet available) The pool is open from May to October, it has a beautiful view over the Valley surrounding the villa. A barbecue, a large pergola and a big wood-fired oven restored respecting its original structure, permit to organize wonderful dinners on the outside.

  Distances:The villa is situated around 13 km from the town of Pontedera, where all the necessary services (shops, banks, restaurants, and post office) can be found. Its location is particularly favourable; with the nearby motorway network you can easily reach the major cities of art and tourist spots in Tuscany (Florence 1 hour, Lucca 1 hour, San Gimignano 40 minutes, Pisa 25 minutes, Volterra 40 minutes, Siena 1e½ minutes). It takes only 30 minutes to reach Pisa International Airport.

House linens (sheets & towels), Final Cleaning, Utility Bills: water, gas and electricity. Linens (weekly change on Saturday) and towels (change twice a week). House, swimming-pool and garden maintenance. Internet wi-fi, swimming-pool. Baby cot on request. Taxes.
Not included: Local Tourist Tax: each guest above 10 years of age will need to pay 5,00 € each for their stay in cash on arrival.
Linens change and extra cleaning on request (15,00 € per hour).
Heating is NOT INCLUDED WILL BE CHARGED BASED ON USAGE if needed. PLEASE NOTE HEATING IN ITALY IS EXPENSIVE - KEY HOLDER WILL ADVISE YOU ON HOW TO MINIMIZE EXPENSE.
